			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>VIA Studio is proud to have worked with the Louisville Metro <a href="http://www.louisvilleky.gov/health">Department of Health and Wellness</a> on their <a href="http://www.louisvilleky.gov/StreetSense/">StreetSense</a> campaign, producing the &#8220;Bike Safety in Louisville&#8221; video, embedded here for your viewing pleasure.</p>
<p>As bicycle enthusiasts ourselves (well, at least some of us), we were ecstatic to be able to help the City create more educational material for bicyclists in the area. We learned quite a bit in writing the script and discussing the major points with educators like Joe Ward. Working with Kirby Adams as the host was a true pleasure, as she is a professional in every way. We hope to work with her on more video in the future.</p>
<p>We were also able to work in some of our illustration and <a href="/services/creative/animation/">animation</a> skills into the video, which (we hope) were able to further the educational aspect of the video. We even added close captioning to conform to government standards. Check it out:</p>
<p><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="640" height="505" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/o_wDx96JZOQ&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;rel=0" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="505" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/o_wDx96JZOQ&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;rel=0" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p>Like any other creative work, there are bits that we would like to improve, but we came in on time and on budget, and produced a useful educational tool for our client. Hopefully this will encourage more people to take bike safety seriously, and also to get out there and ride. See you on the road!</p>

		<description><![CDATA[View a sample of our sense of humor as well as our video and animation skills. VIA Studio presents the 2006 Louisville Graphic Design Association Awards video.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This file has been lingering for awhile since our new <a href="/services/creative/web-design/">website redesign</a>. I thought it was fun enough to publish on our blog, if any LGDA peeps want to reminisce. It&#8217;s the awards video that we created with Scott Caris for the 2006 awards show. The video shows off some of our <a title="Video Production" href="/services/creative/video/">video</a> and <a title="Animation" href="/services/creative/animation/">animation</a> skills.</p>
<p id="preview">The player will show in this paragraph</p>
<p><script src="/video/swfobject.js" type="text/javascript"></script><script type="text/javascript">// <![CDATA[
 var s1 = new SWFObject('/video/player.swf','player','549','337','8'); s1.addParam('allowfullscreen','true'); s1.addParam('allowscriptaccess','always'); s1.addParam('flashvars','height=337&#038;width=549&#038;displayheight=337&#038;overstretch=false&#038;file=/video/2006-100-show.flv&#038;skin=/video/player.swf&#038;image=/video/lgda-100-show.jpg&#038;bufferlength=30'); s1.write('preview');
// ]]&gt;</script></p>
<p>The file was just too huge to host on a 3rd party service and get good quality, so our bandwidth will be taking a hit with this one. Enjoy!</p>
