VIA’s Role

In partnership with Red7e, VIA has commissioned one artist each month to create and distribute a Louisville-centric piece of artwork. We then disseminated that work, usually on free postcards that have been dispersed around the city, and on retail items such as tshirts and posters. Featured 502 artists have included local legends such as Jeral Tidwell, Patrick Sheehan, Bill Green, Justin Kamerer, and many others.

We also threw a fabulous gathering at Louisville’s new Green Building, Gallery NuLu to celebrate our artists and their work. It was great fun, and hopefully the first of many great events to come.

Look for more Five0Two artists at the website and on a postcard near you.

In Louisville we don’t have to make up stories to portray how awesome our city is.

VIA Studio was asked by the Louisville Possibility City campaign for an idea that could reach locals on a “street level” better than their current broad advertising campaign. VIA responded with the “Five0Two Project“. VIA asked local artists who already love our city to say something about it visually.

See how we did it

Testimonial

The Five0Two Campaign gave a home to some of the artistic voices of Louisville.
