Jason Clark: President

As President of VIA Studio Jason’s motto, if he had a motto would be “We build more than brands, we build relationships.” (See, it’s kind of a long motto.) Relationships with clients, with co-workers, and with the community. Although he has a talent for web development, design and marketing, which makes him one of Louisville’s most sought after branding experts, his true passion is people and the services his company can provide. He subscribes and lives the adage, “it takes a village.”
Jason leads an experienced staff of designers and developers who live at the forefront of the digital media stream. (So they don’t miss a thing!) He oversees production at every level of development but never overshadows the creative spirit of the message being crafted by the team. Jason hasn’t lost the hands on approach to design whether it be print or digital. The “magic” VIA Studio makes always requires a little elbow grease.
Beginning his professional career in 1990 in print media (he did “design” on a light table, remember that?), Jason’s skills in design, photography and sound lead him to the newly evolving web of the mid-90′s. In 2003, as his proficiency for leadership increased, his talents were recognized by Kelly McKnight, a visionary in web design and their partnership at VIA began. Jason became president of VIA Studio in 2010. Visionary indeed.
He has been recognized by his peers, receiving numerous Interactive and Design awards, including the 2005 Louisville Graphic Design Association’s “Best in Show” Award. He served a tenure as the 2010 President of the Louisville Graphic Design Association.
In his free time, Jason works as an event promoter, electronic musician, DJ, and sound designer. Basically doing his best to make people dance. He has performed across the country, and has worked with video and performance artists from around the world. Basically helping people to have positive experiences. He has released 2 solo CD’s and another handful of collaborative music projects. Basically making time to share his music with everybody. Even in his free time, Jason builds relationships.
