Hopefully you already know that VIA Studio is a full-service interactive agency (web design, mobile, SEO, digital marketing, etc). What you might not know is that we also have a fun team that tries to get out together every now and then. This summer we joined the city of Louisville’s kickball league, playing other teams on Thursday nights. The following post is part of a series documenting our trials and tribulations as the VIA Studio Unicorns.

Another bites the dust. Unfortunately it was not Brews on First. But it was definitely dusty. This didn’t help our team members still under the weather.

The Unicorns continued to improve on defense. Only allowing a few runs during the first, second, and third innings. Most of which were solo home-run kicks. In forth inning, the other team was able to rally, yet again with two outs, to score 9 runs. Brews on First power kickers just kept bombing it to our gaps in the outfield.

The Unicorns are still lacking on offense. Between the pop-fly outs, forced outs, and weak bunts we were unable to string together a series of kicks to score any runs. This resulted in another run-rule after 3 innings. Ending the game with a score of 15-0.

The ump took pity and allowed the Unicorns to use the field for kicking practice before the next game. This was able to lift our spirits and hopefully will help before next week’s game against Schweaty Balls.
