Hello!

I’m Owie. While I ostensibly came on board VIA last July as a member of the Web Design team the fact of the matter is I was doing a covert investigation for my latest corpurrate acquisition. After finding the offices and the people to my liking I installed myself as Benevolent Dictator at the end of 2009.

In between naps and investigating every nook and cranny of my new offices I have spent a lot of time watching my minions. It’s so cute how sometimes they think they are still in charge. It’s also really amazing what they think they can get away with. Human bosses might have it good when they can see over shoulders. I watch them from their laps!

All the same they do continue to impress me with their ingenuity and execution. While on my usual rounds I’ve been following the refinement of many of their processes. One such process, for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), came to my attention as worthy of the expurrtise only a member of the Felis genus can provide.

In keeping with our best practices I’ve decided it’s time to let the sun shine in on this one and share it with our clients and the world. Not only do we want to be forthright about what we do, we also want to give back to the community at large. Without that community this would be a lot more work and honestly, I’ve got cat toys to play with.

Look for the first installment later this week. I plan on releasing a new post of this series every week thereafter, though I may occasionally be delayed by naps or chasing dust motes. No matter what though, the purring will continue until moral improves.
