From all of us here at VIA, we’d like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season.
Hopefully by now, all of our friends and clients have received their holiday card from us, but in case we missed you, here are our designs for the card. Initially we were going to create ornaments with the first image you see here. Unfortunately, it seems like the project before ours, the trophies for the Louisville Graphic Design Association’s 100 Show, was too much to handle, and the laser-etching machine broke. We eventually tuned the illustration and made it into a greeting card, which turned out beautifully, but we’re still disappointed we couldn’t have our ornaments. Sigh, maybe next year.

The front of the card:

The image comes from the story of “Holly in the Ivy”. Paraphrased from the traditional carol, Holly becomes a small elf. She journeys all year through a forest of Ivy and celebrates her find in the light of discovery.
